Special Rights Watch (SRW) is a non-profit legal and advocacy organization registered in Nigeria with the aim of advancing the rights of persons with disabilities, vulnerable persons, the imprisoned and defenseless citizens, those suffering abject poverty and the terminallyill persons.
As a human rights-based organization, SRW uniquely seeks to champion inclusive justice systems by providing free legal representation, legal based advocacy and other disability-based interventions to advance the rights of the target groups.
Registered in 2009, SRW has worked to carryout interventions aimed at providing support to persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups especially in the rural areas. This has been achieved through direct interventions such as ICT training, street reach-outs, scholarships, awareness campaigns, legal support and health interventions.
